On April 26, 2025, the Battle of Libušín Festival will take place in Libušín near Kladno!
The event is an all-day event - we start at 10:00 and end at 22:30 in the evening.
The medieval historical festival "Battle of Libušín" was founded in 1991 as one of the first events of its kind and size in Europe. This year we are organizing the 32nd year of this important event, which over the years has grown into one of the largest events of its kind!
⚔️ As part of the afternoon program, when we catch a magnificent battle for you, which will be divided into two acts, the first act will be period and contemporary, focused purely on the early Middle Ages, while the second act will be mythical and epic! This year we will focus on older medieval history, when the story will take us to the early Middle Ages and the story of the powerful Viking King! In the battle, you will be shown medieval infantry units from the early, high and late Middle Ages, archers, artillery, shooters with firearms (slingshots, crossbows) and firearms (pipes, hook guns, tarasnice), spearmen, lancers, crossbowmen, etc. The battle will also involve knightly cavalry 🐴⚔️ We also register foreign participants from all over Europe, a few fighters from Asia and even from overseas!
⚔️ Please pay close attention to our morning program - you will be presented with a small Viking medieval village performed by SHŠ Aurinko Félag, where you can look forward to a discussion of the Viking way of life according to contemporary realities. The village will later become part of the plot and the battle stage ⚔️ You can also look forward to a fencing tournament, where warriors from all periods will compete in several disciplines: duels, bridges and mass combat ⚔️ Other interesting parts of the accompanying program await you, which will take you to times long gone, so there is really something to look forward to. The program will be all day long and everyone will surely find something to do!

🎼Music lovers will certainly enjoy concerts accompanied by aristocratic and bourgeois music. historicizing music and tones of the popular band Lucrezia Borgia 🎼 and also an evening unplugged concert in a medieval pub with the famous band Peregrin 🎼
